I was lucky enough to spend my childhood on movie sets, completely in awe as I watched my uncle, Roger Pratt BSC—the genius Director of Photography behind films like Batman 12 Monkeys and Harry Potter—along with other amazing world class filmmakers in action. Those thrilling and magical, early experiences sparked a passion for filmmaking in me.

 

 

While studying at film school in London I kicked off my career working in the industry as camera and lighting assistant, gaffer, and Director of Photography on all sorts of exciting projects like low-budget features, music videos, commercials, and shorts! At just 19 I shot my first music video for MTV, and by 24, I had already shot my first indie feature. I’m passionate about creating vibrant, cinematic, visual that truly resonate with audiences.

 

 

With over 20 years in the film industry, I have experienced the full spectrum of filmmaking across various budget scales. My journey as a freelance Director of Photography, Director, and Producer has enriched my expertise, leading me to form my own production company. From feature films and commercials to art films and music videos, I have crafted a diverse array of content, including corporate and social projects. My passion for storytelling drives every project I undertake.

 

 

I have experience shooting across a wide range of formats, from 35mm and 16mm film to digital cinema cameras like Alexa, Venice, and Red. My versatility extends to DSLRs, GoPros, and smartphones, allowing me to capture stunning visuals regardless of the equipment. Every project is an opportunity to explore new storytelling techniques and push creative boundaries.
